Cocoa — adopted

Cocoa is a very sweet little girl who loves to play ball. She is about 8 years old, with beautiful, dark liver spots. Cocoa’s owner surrendered her to a high kill shelter in California, but we were able to save her with help from the Antelope Valley Dalmatian Rescue. Cocoa is very thin, and we are working to help her gain a few pounds. She is healthy, and very energetic. She loves to go for walks and enjoys a good run down the block.

Cocoa gets along with some cats and dogs, but only if they are dominant. When they are friendly or submissive, she turns into a bully. She loves people of all ages, and would be great in a home with school aged children who would shower her with attention, especially if they would throw the ball for her.

Cocoa is quiet, and would be OK in an apartment if she got a long walk, or a short jog at the end of the day. She will need a lot of attention when you are home. She is well behaved in the house, and can be enclosed in a room, but not in a crate. She becomes very agitated in a crate. She does well in the car as long as she is not crated.

Cocoa is spayed and current on her vaccinations. If you would like to adopt Cocoa, please send an adoption inquiry.
